StandOut Award
Started in 2022 at the EFPT Malta Forum, the aim of this award is to recognize the outstanding contribution made to the EFPTs activities, promotion, vision and mission by the EFPT Working Groups.
Interested Working Groups should nominate themselves for this award. They do not need to submit any additional application documents, the recipient of this year’s award will be decided by the board by reviewing the Working Group reports of this year.
In the case that a Working Group chair is a board member and nominates their Working Group for the award, that member will abstain from voting to avoid conflict of interest.
The evaluation is based on a scoring system on the below categories and the highest scoring nominee will receive the award during the annual EFPT General Assembly:
- Productivity – measurable activity i.e. online sessions organized, publications created, presentations made
- Commitment & consistency – i.e. likely time allocated to WG activities by members, WG meetings had, transferable plans created, longer term activities planned or implemented
- Inclusivity – i.e. projects include different working group members, different collaborators, reaching a wider network of trainees
- Originality & added value – i.e. original projects & activities adding value to the EFPTs vision, branding, and prestige
- Overall performance
We appreciate that the type of voluntary work that Working Group members are doing deserve more than an award, however we hope this new initiative will motivate Working Groups further and increase their visibility.
