International night
One of the highlights of the programme is the International night. During this event all participants will have a shot at getting to know each other’s culture in the best possible way, through drinks, food, conversations, and music. We would like to request all participating countries to bring food and drinks typical for your country to the International Night along with some decorations so that we can fully immerse ourselves in all of the wonderful cultures that will be present with us.
Concerning drinks, please note that we are allowed to ‘bring our own booze’, but it costs 1 euro per 0.5L, and the alcohol percentage cannot be above 15% since the venue doesn’t have a license for strong beverages.
Lastly, every country will be asked to perform a dance or act during the evening. So make sure to prepare something in advance to blast us all away!
Poster sessions
Another important part of the programme are the Poster Sessions. This year’s theme will be: Residents as Changemakers: Designing a Better Training Programme. In advance of the EFPT Forum, all participating countries will be asked to prepare a poster featuring exciting insights in how trainees in your country shape their own training programme. During the Poster Sessions every poster will be judged by a panel of experts and the very best poster will receive an award.
This year, we wish to not only inspire the Forum participants with the outcomes of Residents as Changemakers: Designing a Better Training Programme, but others as well. In order to accomplish this, we are collaborating with the International Journal Of Psychiatric Trainees. To showcase all of the bright initiatives that are taking place, we would like to ask all participating countries to write an Abstract to complement your Poster submission. Start brainstorming with your NTA right now which of your brilliant initiatives you want to present to the world!
