Call for EFPT General Managers 2023-2024
EFPT is pleased to announce the opening of the application period for General Manager (GM) positions 2023-2024.
The General Managers play a vital role in the work of the EFPT, and we are looking for enthusiastic trainees with strong communication skills who are motivated to advance the work of the EFPT and develop their own professional skills and career.
As a General Manager, you will be working closely with the EFPT Board of Directors for the term of one year and have opportunities to propose and develop your own projects during your tenure.
This year, we have 5 General Manager positions available.

The General Manager positions are open to all trainees and anyone within 5 years of the start of their training in any EFPT member country.

- a letter of motivation (max. 1 page Format A4), clearly stating which position you wish to apply for
- a short CV which includes your name, current training site and address, email, and telephone number.
All applications will be reviewed by the EFPT board, and the outcome will be communicated to all applicants in due course.
It is important to note that EFPT General Managers are very hands-on positions with communication at the core. Therefore, it is essential that all General Managers are confident in their language skills in English and flexibly accessible for contact.

National Trainees’ Associations (NTA) General Manager
The NTA General Manager is responsible for coordinating the communication with the member NTAs of the EFPT. This GM will maintain a strong connection between the EFPT Board of Directors and member NTAs, facilitating continuous involvement of all member NTAs with EFPT projects throughout the year. The NTA General Manager keeps a directory of NTA contacts and ensures it is regularly updated to enable fluent communication. This GM will also organise meetings between NTA Representatives and the EFPT Board as needs arise throughout the year.
Social Media General Manager
The Social Media General Manager is responsible for operating the EFPT social media accounts and further developing the EFPT social media strategy. This GM will keep EFPT members updated on new projects and opportunities through different social media platforms.
Newsletter General Manager
The Newsletter General Manager is responsible for editing, publishing and disseminating the quarterly EFPT newsletter. This GM will collect relevant content to be included in the newsletter, ensuring all EFPT members and partners remain up to date with our events and projects.
Events General Manager
The Events General Manager is responsible for coordinating and promoting the events organised by EFPT throughout the year. This GM will liaise with working groups and individuals interested in organising an event, determine the dates for these events in collaboration with the organiser and the board, support the organiser and speaker in the practical and technical aspects of the event, and coordinate the promotion of the event. The Events General Manager also supports the organizations of EFPT events in different occasions along with local NTA(s) e.g. the customary EFPT gathering at EPA congresses. This GM will be contributing to the EFPT quarterly newsletter by summarising events that happened in EFPT in the last quarter and listing dates of upcoming events within the EFPT.
Financial Resources General Manager
The Financial Resources General Manager aids the EFPT Board of Directors in arranging suitable financial sponsors for EFPT and its activities. This GM ensures the sponsors are in line with the mission and vision of EFPT and always works in close contact with the EFPT Board of Directors to that end. The Financial Resources General Manager understands the delicate nature of financial matters for non-profit organizations and employs sensitive diplomacy accordingly while carrying out the activities. This GM also supports the EFPT Treasurer, where and as needed.
