This is the trust website with details of the main sites in the trust. The exchange will be centred in Brighton, at inpatient unit Hospital website Millview Hospital, or outpatient and specialist team departments at East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre.

Description of the program:

The exchange offers visiting trainee doctors the opportunity to gain experience in General Adult Psychiatry in the vibrant city of Brighton, UK. There is a possibility of working in different units or departments, including inpatient wards, outpatient department, assertive outreach team (for patients who require more intensive levels of support in the community), homeless mental health team. This can be tailored, where possible, to the interests of the trainee.

The trainee will also be able to attend education activities such as lectures, case presentations and journal clubs.

Two-week exchange placements are currently offered. For the current application period, the exchange period available will be from May – July 2020.
