The CNIPSY (Congrès National des Internes de PSYchiatrie) is the the annual congress organized by and for French psychiatric trainees. Created several years ago, it represents for trainees a unique opportunity to meet each other, to exchange experiences among peers and to create strong connections.
Indeed this two-day congress is organized by trainees and therefore focus on questions and problems which concern very specifically psychiatric trainees: for instance, the theme of this year CNIPSY is “Disharmony” and will focus on the difficulty for a young psychiatric trainee to deal with sometimes very different fields of knowledge (from neuroscience to psychoanalysis) and the way to take advantage of the best aspects of each disciplines.
It will take place in Toulouse, a very charming city in south West of France, which is often called “the Pink City”. A party will also be organized between the two days of the congress.
It is of course initially a French event but we are deeply convinced that it would be a great thing if trainees from other European countries could attend it to discover the French way of understanding and practicing psychiatry.
We would be very glad to welcome a few European trainees!
