I have the honor to announce that the next EFPT Forum will be preceded by the
first EFPT Course on Leadership and Professional Skills (19-22 June 2015),
directed by Professor Norman Sartorius and Professor Sir David Goldberg,
and the applications are now open!
This Course will be a great opportunity for those selected to improve leadership and professional skills in a friendly and professional environment amongst EFPT Forum participants.
This Course will take place immediately before the EFPT Forum in Porto, and selected participants will have 3 nights of free accommodation in the dates of the Course.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Psychiatry trainees that are representing EFPT in their countries are invited to submit their application. Those previously registered as participants of the EFPT Forum in Porto are allowed to submit their application.
This Course expects to enhance competencies of the psychiatry trainees that demonstrated to be active and engaged in their home countries collaborating with their National Trainees Associations and therefore keen in participating afterwards in the EFPT Porto Forum 2015.
LEARN HOW TO:
. make an oral presentation, produce a poster, read and write a scientific article
. prepare a proposal for a project
. produce a curriculum vitae
. present oneself a candidature for an elective post
. proceed in an interview of a person seeking employment
. answer questions of the press
. chair a session
. assess priorities at work and in life
. deal with other challenges that young psychiatrists face
AT THE COURSE:
The participants will be expected to prepare an oral presentation for this Course.
Participation in the course is free.
Participants will be provided free accommodation in the 3 nights of the Course.

To apply the candidates must submit a CV, Motivation Letter, Certificate/Declaration of fluency in English and copy of the passport identification. These documents should be submitted in PDF format.
