Would you like to become more involved in EFPT and contribute to its work across Europe?
The European Federation of Psychiatric Trainees is pleased to open applications for its General Manager positions for the 2026–2027 term.
General Managers work closely with the EFPT Board of Directors in specific areas of the Federation’s work and play an important role in supporting communication, projects and activities throughout the year.
There are five positions available:
- National Trainee Associations General Manager
- Social Media General Manager
- Newsletter General Manager
- Events General Manager
- Financial Resources General Manager
Each role offers a different way to become involved in EFPT, work with psychiatric trainees from across Europe and contribute to the Federation’s activities during the coming term.
Who can apply?
In accordance with the EFPT Bylaws, General Managers must be:
- psychiatry trainees; or
- within five years of the start of their psychiatric training at the time of appointment.

What do General Managers do?
General Managers work under the direction of the EFPT Board in their respective areas. They are expected to remain generally contactable by email and to continue their responsibilities until a successor has been appointed and accepted the position.
