MAPT is a voluntary organisation that represents doctors who are doing specialisation training in psychiatry. It was established in 2009 with the aim of fostering community between trainees, and bridging gaps between trainees and senior colleagues. Another important aim of MAPT is to raise mental health awareness and promote access to care. MAPT is an affiliate of the Malta Association of Psychiatry (MAP).
