Programme:
We are a child and adolescent psychiatric clinic of a regional general hospital with our own locations. In
Bad Salzuflen, for example, we have the clinic with 48 inpatient treatment places and 8 day clinic places.
We also have day clinic locations in Detmold (8 places), in Herford (10 places) and Minden (16 places).
We are responsible for the regional compulsory child and adolescent psychiatric care in the districts of
Lippe, Minden-Lübbecke and Herford and thus for the care of an area with around one million residents.
We have a therapeutic team of around 25 employees (psychotherapists and doctors) and around 100
nursing staff. A further clinic with 32 more inpatient treatment places is planed for the region of Minden.
As part of onboarding, we use the mentor principle with a fixed contact person for induction, organize
induction seminars and other training courses to strengthen the theoretical and practical background of
the team and we support all our employees directly from the management level through flat hierarchies.
I would like to say that the working atmosphere in our clinic is very good, often family-like and we work
as a team. But that should rather be reported to our employees.
With 1-3 shifts per month, the on-call duty load is in the lower range and there is always a specialist
doctor in the background who is always available and approachable and who also comes to the clinic if
necessary. As a result of the newly founded medical faculty at Bielefeld University, Klinikum Lippe
GmbH is part of the University Hospital Ostwestfalen-Lippe and will start teaching and research at the
OWL medical faculty in the 2021/22 winter semester.
We are happy to take on 2-3 resident doctors via the EFPT for training. We will integrate them in the
Teams and the onboarding/ student Programms.

Language requirements:
- English: Minimum Level B2 required
- German: German language is very useful for training, 98% of the therapies are in German. B2 level is the lowest to profit.
