Dear EFPT friends,
It is my pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee and of the EFPT Board, to invite you to the 20th Forum of the European Federation which will be held on May 21-26, 2012 in Sorrento, Italy. The venue of the Forum will be the Hotel Sorrento Hilton Palace (www.sorrentopalacehotel.it).
We hope that the unique natural beauty of Sorrento, the cultural and historical heritage of nearby Pompeii and the beautiful landscapes of the Sorrentine Peninsula will provide an ideal environment in which to enjoy again the EFPT spirit as much as we did in Prague during the last Forum.
Please find attached the preliminary programme of the Forum, the pre-registration form and a document with all the information on transfers from Naples airport to Sorrento and how to directly contact the hotels with which we arranged favourable rates for Forum participants.
The Scientific Session of the Forum, entitled “New directions in psychiatry” has been organized in collaboration with the Early Career Psychiatrists Committee of the European Psychiatric Association, chaired by Dr. Andrea Fiorillo. During this session, more than 20 internationally renowned speakers will deliver lectures on main areas of psychiatry and psychiatric training. Participation at this session will also be possible for early career psychiatrists who are not attending the Forum as national delegates or observers, and they will also have the opportunity to pre-register to three CME courses organized by EPA Academia. Therefore, I would like to kindly ask you to forward the programme of the session, included in the attachment “New directions in psychiatry”, to your network of personal contacts.
More information will follow in due course.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org in case you have any question or need any help.
We look forward to welcoming you all to Italy!
With warmest regards,
Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 20th EFPT Forum
